The Global South Hub Africa, launched in Nairobi, Kenya, in August 2022, serves as a collaborative platform for the 54 African nations. It aims to foster partnerships that promote agricultural biotechnologies and science-based innovations, addressing critical areas such as food and nutrition security, climate change, global health, and combating misinformation.By supporting initiatives that build credibility and trust, the hub empowers local communities to adopt evidence-based solutions for sustainable development.
Global South Hub Asia
Established in July 2023 through a collaboration between the Alliance for Science and Farming Future Bangladesh, the Global South Hub Asia is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This hub focuses on creating platforms for partners across the science, technology, and innovation ecosystem to leverage growing networks of experts across the Global South. It promotes South-South collaboration and advances projects applying science-based solutions to shared challenges, including climate change, food and nutrition security, global health, and combating misinformation on biotechnology.

Through strategic collaborations, they provide resources, expertise, and funding to promote sustainable development in the Global South.These partnerships facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the implementation of innovative solutions to address global challenges such as food security, climate change, and public health.
