He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry, with special interest in food biotechnology, from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is the former president of an African public interest non-governmental organization that promoted biotechnology to rural farmers.”
